Hey there. Good day all.
The urge to write this down burns ceaselessly though.
Hey, lets get back to the title.
The urge to write this down burns ceaselessly though.
For now, I am in my room, helplessly lying on the floor instead of on my bed which is quite high for my 'getting bumpier' body to reach the double decked bed.
It is now Semester 4. Too many things to do. But too much procrastination to practice. Too much thoughts to be pondered about. And yeah. Ample of plans have been in my mind actually. Well, planning for something good is always in my plan. Interesting, ain't it? And a job for director's post is really tiring. Indeed.
And what the hell am I gonna nag about at this very hour? Its already late at night. And obviously I am not burning even a milliliter of my midnight oil, since I am just using the light from my laptop.
hmm
Hey, lets get back to the title.
The thing is what I've been thinking of what I have read in the current social medias' contents. It seems not really current since I actually wanted to write about this for a long time. When the news about this is still hot from the oven. When there are still people bother to talk about this. It is regarding the Alvin Tan's provocative statuses in the Facebook. But I am not intended to write any about him anyway.(Well, I don't find any good reason to do so ==').
But it is about faith.
While reading and browsing throughout the comments wrote by both Muslims and Non Muslims Facebook users (or keyboard warrior would be nice), suddenly this memory crossed over my mind. I used to do a lot of activities back in my first year session in the university. One of them, is did some donation drive along in residential areas and centers with some of Chinese friends in raising our funds to realize our educational trip to the rural schools happened successfully.
On our way back home the senior who drove the car decided to buy a cake in a cake shop near Petaling Jaya. It was only me and one of my Chinese female friend, Erin in the car chit chatting about families and what religion or faith they are practicing. From what I've been told, Erin's parents are very good disciples in Buddhism. However, I started to get quite fancy when she told me she is still in free thinking mode when it comes to her faith. She said, she is still searching for what is the best and what made her to follow on a thing called RELIGION. It actually doesn't require any fancy or weird feelings after all when your friend told you such things. But I am still new with this. Never had any kind of such people like her openly announcing for free thinker status globing around my surrounding.
But we are already 21 mannn..!!
We are free to choose our religion aight?
Haha.
Don't blame me ya... fellow paranoiacs! (Oh, I am still Muslim-lah)
It is not me who said that.
It is even stated well in our constitution. Federal Constitution.

Well-well-well.
Being a 21 year old kid or being a human being who are trying to strive for humanity maturity, we just do not have to be a paranoia towards these kind of things, people. You cannot even put any judgement or blaming for the people who are searching for something true.
And yes, I did not even make any grimace expression once after she uttered that.
I am not being judgmental for that. I even support her for her effort. That is a rare thing for a young adults to do especially in finding the faith. (Because I always see lots of our youngsters nowadays just love hedonism. You know... whether you are a hipster or a raver..)
* sigh *
And that is what I want to stress it on and try to convey to you.
When people start to say " I am on my way to find something true, I am on my path to find my faith" or maybe they just say... "I want to search for my God"..
Let them do what they should do. Just support them. Guide them. Do not be harsh upon their choice in searching his or her creator. After all, you and I and even they all know who is our Creator. Our God. But in this crucial time, all you need to do is support your fellow mates who were or are in critical times finding their way back Home. It doesn't even matter if they are Muslims or Buddhist or Hindus or even Christians. As long as you are there giving full backups for your friends in need.
Those so called 'holy' people who criticize very harsh towards those Muslims who want to find their God are actually not so great-lah.
Chill-lah folks. He or she is just requesting sometimes to re-tune his or her faith towards God. Not even say want to convert to other religions. And you need to help them as well! DO not criticize or degrade their motivation. They are in searching mode. (You would not want to be disturbed too when you want to search for your lost books right? You need support too right?) Then be a helpful friend. Lend your hand. Not by giving response such as
"Kau ni tak takut neraka ke?"
"Kau nak cari apa lagi? Islam agama yang syumul. Kenapa kau nak cari agama lain pulak?"
"Bersyukurlah menjadi salah seorang orang Islam. Lahir-lahir dah Islam. Kau tengok yang lain tu. Lahir dalam keadaan agama yang lain"(okay, I have heard this one and actually this is really damn sucks and annoying)
You know what, when you are once know you are in your religion, that doesn't mean you need to just 'shake leg' and without a reasonable mind, you just be a 'statue disciple'. Just being a fool following whatever have been told to do. However, please be realistic! Be a relevant follower. You have to know what you are holding into. What faith you are believing in. Being a Muslim is not by just a moo-slim. You need to find. Find and search. And always read.
Let me remind you that our people's interest in reading is really freakin low! That is where when our concept in life has been so far astray - wrongly interpreted and our society is degrading as crazy. We always tend to know since we were a little kid being told by our ustazs and ustazahs.. that our prophet, Muhammad s.a.w had his first sentence(order) from God when he was in Hira' Cave and it said Iqra' which means Read! But we were never being told that we should read as it is the first word coming from God but what we have here today.. is just a huge numbers of people who doen't want to read and become an ignorant community. But the sad thing is they think they deserve a special class from God just because their religion is superior to others. (Yeah, right)
So, READ!
And THINK!
Besides, I can say by this way, they are being more serious towards what they are holding on to. And being a totally 'lembu' is the most idiot worshiper, I can say.
Opps.
Don't blame me again! :P
And what I claim is not only for the Muslims.
Don't discriminate. Be joyful and celebrate your helping hand for other friends from different religions as well.
Remember! Don't discriminate. Don't spread hatred! You never know when will you be at your lowest point and then on that moment, you really need a helping hand, a good ear to listen to, a backup when you just want to lie anywhere because you just had done with this life.
So does with your faith. And faith towards God means you won't put your belief with any human aside. Because why? It is a cruel thing for a human being to do. Or else, go rotten in hell then. :)
Assalamualaikum.
